Clube Praia Mar

Clube Praia Mar is around 500 meters from Av. Tomás Cabreira, where you will be able to enjoy the magnificent view of the cliff tops that leads to the Fortaleza de Santa Catarina. This Fortaleza was built in 1621 to defend Silves and Portimão against opposing fleets, and more recently became the new Marina of Praia da Rocha. You will be able to find in these places the most varied types of souvenir shops, restaurants, night-clubs, bars, hotels and apartments. There is also a first-class casino located close to the beach. At a distance of 2 km from the city of Portimão, set on the estuary of the Arade River, the fishing port of Portimão is blessed with a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere and a rich selection of fish and seafood restaurants. A short drive west lies the picturesque village of Alvor, where the discovery of a Neolithic settlement with the remains of a subsequent Roman occupation is evidence of the town’s historic past. 15Km from Portimão is the historical city of Silves, and 24Km the mountains of Monchique and Caldas de Monchique with their famous rejuvenating water, 20 km lies the City of Lagos.

How to reach us

From Faro Airport:

Exit the airport on the A22 highway, follow the signs to Portimão.

Once you arrive in Portimão, follow the signs to Praia da Rocha (V6).  At the end of the road at the roundabout with fountains, circle back in the opposite direction and then take the first on your right. You will then have reached Clube Praia Mar.

Transportation to and from Faro Airport available upon payment of a certain fee.
