The Hotel Erato is situated in Gournes Pediados , just 15 km east of Heraklion-Crete. It is built in traditional Cretan style and it has been renovated recently. The hotel which offers not only Cretan hospitality and warmth but also very good service, can provide people who seek for quietness and serenity a unique experience. Because of his general location Erato gives his guests the possibility to reach all destinations very easily and quickly. Only 500 m away from the hotel is situated the D. E. K. K. (International Exhibition Center of Crete) due to which the hotel remains open in the winter. The biggest Aquarium of the Balkans is be ready. In addition to this, the only a few meters away the Village Center, where there are cafes, bars, taverns, restaurants and shops. If you are looking for more fun, Chersonisos, which is a town with numerous bars and discos, is only 10 minutes drive away. There are regular bus connections to Chersonisos, Agios Nikolaos and Heraklion.

Triple room: This type of room can accommodate 3 persons. Single room: This type of room can accommodate 1 person. A renovated room (2007) with a single bed and private bathroom with shower. Equipped with: telephone, radio, hair dryer, air condition, with window or terrace. Extra charge: Satellite TV, safety box and mini fridge.

The hotel has the right, according to the availability during the period 1/4 - 31/08, not to accept reservations with a minimum stay less than 5 nights.
Restaurant and bar
An attractive, comfortable and completely air conditioned room with quality service and reasonable prices. The restaurant can be also accessed from the main road and is preferred by many passers-by.
The restaurant offers a wide range of tasty dishes and can satisfy even the most demanding guests. In the hotel restaurant the guests can try the local cuisine, all dishes prepared with the well-known Cretan art and local olive oil. The halfboard guest can enjoy a breakfast buffet and a served dinner.
The guests can start their day with a coffee on the nice veranda by the pool and go on ordering a snack or other Speciality for lunch and later on coffee and cake. They can finish their day enjoying a drink.
