Blackheath Motor Inn

The motel is 5 minutes on foot from the heart of town where you'll find a range of restaurants, cafes and unique shops. A 10 min drive takes you to the major lookout "Govetts Leap" as well as National Parks Info Centre (info on many fine bushwalks). 20 Mins by car takes you into the Megalong Valley to see some wild kangaroos and beautiful rainforest. We are also very close to Katoomba (3 Sisters & Scenic World) and teh world renowned Jenolan Caves are about 1hr away. Ask at reception and we'll certainly fill 3 or more days for you!

How to reach us from the airport

Nearest airport (international & domestic) is in Sydney. An easy 2 hour drive along the M4 heading west will take you right past the motel. Ask your rental car operator about toll fees and which roads to avoid.

How to reach us by means of public transport

From the International airport in Sydney, take the train to Central station and there transfer to Blackheath (Lithgow line). The trip takes about 2 1/4 hrs.

How to reach us by car

From Sydney drive west along the M4 and continue to the motel. From the west, follow the Great Western Highway towards Sydney.
