We, a small Web business in Austria, plan to implement a new remote customer care system so we're looking for a
Customer Care / Manager (Telecommuting)
for a certain (exactly one) country (USA: state, Canada: province/territory, Australia: state/territory).
Your tasks
- Manage and improve our standard hotel directory in your assigned country.
- Keep the list of locations (citys, towns etc) up to date and extended it for new properties.
- Maintain and improve the standard property listings, add new properties, delete obsolete entries
- You will be the primary contact person for your assigned country for both guests and properties.
- Do the emails for your assigned country, including support for hotels and guests within a few days (see Requirements).
- Actively contact hotels and advertise our online-booking system.
Your payment and advantages
- 15 % of provisions (for online and HInstant bookings) for your assigned country
- 50 % of ad incomings (Google AdSense) for your assigned country
- 50 % of incomings from link entry or standard listing for your assigned country
- Your part will be accounted as soon as we get the money. Monthly payment of your earnings.
- Full control of your earnings because you receive copies of all emails including booking confirmations anyway.
- It's up to you how, how much and when you want to work. Only the emails must be answered within a few days (see Requirements).
- Agreement can be terminated by both parties at any time, with or without reasons.
For instance, our provision incomings for Austria 2007 were about 8700 EUR. Please note that this value
is strongly dependent on how actively this country is managed/supported so your earnings will directly depend on
your performance.
Requirements
- Work as free-lancer / self-employed
- You need to be familiar with the country and its conventions.
- Fluent in the official language(s) of the country (for contact with the hotels) – mother tonque or equivalent
- Very good English (for contact with the guests)
- Because you will be responsible for the hotel guide's representation in your assigned country, you must
be trustworthy and we have to check your identity (pass-port etc.).
- Emails from both hotels and guests for your assigned country have to be answered within 4 days (of course, the sooner the better).
- You will have to know how our system works in order to provide support so will have to read our online-booking manual.
Technical
- Most tasks can be done with a normal browser (Firefox recommended) from anywhere.
- You get an own email address ....@hirners.com.
- You can do your emails with your regular email client from anywhere (Thunderbird recommended).
