Services

The services carried out by Hirners Hotel Guide, especially:

• transmission of booking requests to lodging suppliers,
• transmission of bookings to lodging suppliers,
• transmission of bookings to loding supplier unions (especially Hotusa Hotels, Hoteles Turísticos Unidos S.A.)

are free of charge for the requesting/booking person (further referred to as "guest" even if the request or booking doesn't result in a real stay). The services are not enforceable.

The bookings are contracts between guest and lodging supplier, so the terms and conditions of the lodging supplier apply (for bookings as well as for cancellations). To cancel a reservation, the guest has to inform the lodging supplier directly.

Protection of Data Privacy

We take care of data which are transmitted to the lodging suppliers in case of a booking request or booking, especially name, address and credit card details.

Credit card details are transmitted to lodging suppliers only for the purpose of guarantee. We do not charge guests' credit cards in any case.

Liability

We are liable for damages insofar as intent or gross negligence can be proven, within the framework of statutory regulations. Liability is excluded in case of slight negligence. Compensation for consequential damages and financial loss, not realized savings, loss of interest, and damages arising from third-party claims against the seller is in every case, to the extent legally permissible, ruled out.

Concluding Terms

Insofar as not otherwise agreed, the statutory regulations applicable to registered merchants are exclusively those in force under Austrian law. This is the case also when the order is carried out outside of Austria. In case of conflict, it is agreed that only the responsible local court in our place of business has jurisdiction. For sales to consumers within the meaning of the consumer protection law, the above terms are valid only insofar as the consumer protection law does not insist on other conditions.
